Personal Data Protection

1. DATA PROTECTION POLICY

1.1. Purpose.

This Data Protection Policy applies to the ACEGA website, at www.acega.es (the "Website").

1.2. Personal Data Processing.

1.2.1. Data controller.

The data controller responsible for processing the personal data provided by the user on the Website is the single-member company AUTOPISTA CENTRAL GALLEGA, C.E.S.A. 1.2.2. Purpose and Legal Basis for Data Processing.

(i) ACEGA uses the different forms on the Website to collect and process the personal data for the purposes of handling the query, request for information, claim or complaint made through the Website and through the Customer Care service, on the basis of the consent that you give by submitting such query, request or claim, as well as, where applicable, on the basis of any legal obligation that ACEGA might have regarding claims or complaints about its services.

The user can withdraw the consent given at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of such consent, although such withdrawal will prevent the relevant query and/or claim from being processed.

(ii) Furthermore, any personal data (images) that have been or are collected during the recordings made by the camera or video-camera systems installed in the ACEGA facilities will be processed for the purpose of preserving and guaranteeing the security of people and their property and of their own facilities.

The legal basis for processing such data is the public interest in preserving and guaranteeing the security of people and their property and of the facilities themselves.

1.2.3 Disclosure of Data.

The personal data processed by ACEGA for the purpose detailed in point (i) above shall not be disclosed to third parties unless such disclosure is required to comply with a legal obligation.

In general, the data collected for the purpose indicated in paragraph (ii) shall not be disclosed to third parties, except in certain cases, such as when necessary to comply with a legal obligation in the context of an investigation and prosecution of crimes or administrative offenses, in which case the personal data may be disclosed to the Law Enforcement Bodies and Forces, to the Judges and Courts and/or to the Public Prosecutor's Office.

1.2.4 Data Retention Period.

The personal data will be retained as long as necessary to attend to queries, claims and requests for information, and as long as the interested party does not withdraw its consent or object to a specific processing operation.

Subsequently, data will only be retained insofar as they are necessary for the purpose of determining any liability arising from the processing, and for the duration of such liability or, where appropriate, to comply with legal obligations to which ACEGA is subject.

The personal data collected by the video cameras will be kept for a maximum term of one month after being collected, after which they will be erased.

However, if the images collected capture the commission of a crime or an administrative offense that must be brought to the attention of the authorities, the images may be kept for a period of time longer than the initial month, for the sole purpose of making them available to the Law Enforcement Bodies and Forces, the Judges and Courts and/or the Public Prosecutor's Office.

1.2.5. Users' Rights.

Users can exercise their rights to access, rectify, erase, object to and/or restrict the processing of their personal data, and their right to data portability by sending a written request to ACEGA at Feal, s/n, San Mamede de Ribadulla, C.P. 15885 Vedra (A Coruña), or else by sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. 1.3. Policy Update

ACEGA may change this Data Protection Policy, in which case it will inform the user accordingly via the Website or any other means so that it can read the policy and so continue using our services.
